Street Machine magazine has joined American SpeedFest 7 as the official media partner ahead of its return to Brands Hatch on 1-2 June.
Street Machine is a leading UK voice in the world of custom and American cars, as well as with the hot rod community, making it the ideal partner for the event. Indeed, the magazine is currently edited by Dave Smith, who previously held the same position at the defunct American Car magazine.
This partnership will mean SpeedFest 7 enjoys plenty of pre-event coverage in the magazine, as well as coverage of the event itself.
The magazine’s team will also use their own contacts to enhance the event with a trade stand accompanied by a ‘Street and Strip’ display featuring specially selected cars. These cars will also feature in the SpeedFest 7 live action arena, which returns for 2019.
On top of all that, Street Machine will run competitions at the event, and there will even be a chance for American car owners in attendance to get their hands on a Street Machine Award.
On-track action will be headlined by the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series – the only official NASCAR series on the continent – with 1997 F1 Champion Jacques Villeneuve already confirmed for 2019. There will be a great selection of American flavoured support races too, plus an off-track show that will comprise in excess of 1,000 American cars, bikes and trucks. There’s plenty of family fun too – plus all the razzmatazz you’d expect to find at a big American sports event!
Weekend tickets are £32 and main raceday (Sunday) adult tickets are just £25 online with free admission for under 13s.
